MY EXPERIENCE
I’m Morven Lindsay, an Edinburgh-born chef now based in Valencia, with a lifetime of professional cooking experience that began in restaurant kitchens at just 13 years old.
For more than three decades I have worked across Spain and the UK, creating memorable food experiences in restaurants, private homes and exceptional venues. My career has taken me from Andalucía and the Alicante region to the Balearic Islands, where I spent 16 years in Ibiza as a private chef and caterer, cooking for international clients, retreats, celebrations, weddings, photo shoots and exclusive events.
In 2026 I graduated from the Mediterranean Culinary Center in Valencia with a Higher Degree in Kitchen Management, strengthening my expertise in professional cookery, sustainability and hospitality management. As part of my training I completed three months in the Michelin-starred restaurant Fierro, gaining experience in the precision, creativity and discipline of fine dining.
Today my work combines private chef services with hands-on cooking workshops and culinary experiences that celebrate Mediterranean food, traditional baking and local gastronomy. Teaching and sharing knowledge has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career, creating welcoming experiences for visitors, families and food enthusiasts alike.
I am also authorised by Sanidad to produce artisan conservas and preserves from my home kitchen and am proud to be a member of the Bakers’ Guild of Valencia, allowing me to expand my work into small-scale food production alongside catering and education.
My cooking is rooted in seasonal Mediterranean produce, sustainability and the kilometre-zero philosophy. Living in the heart of Valencia, close to both the Central Market and the vibrant Ruzafa Market, gives me access to some of the finest ingredients in Spain and inspires a cuisine that is elegant, creative and deeply connected to place.
I offer private chef services, bespoke catering, workshops and artisan food products throughout Valencia and the surrounding region, creating experiences that combine professional expertise with warmth, generosity and a genuine love of good food.
